This purpose-designed tenkara fluorocarbon level line has the advantages of high density for great casting and also good visibility to the angler for judging casting accuracy as well as detecting bites. The yellow/green colour is useful for conditions where fish may spook easily. The colour does not clash with those found in the natural surroundings of a trout (especially when compared to a bright pink or orange line). Because its texture and colour density are made specifically for tenkara casting and fishing, it performs a lot better than fluorocarbons designed for other uses such as sea fishing (e.g. BMS sniper).
